REPORT FROM THE ANNUAL IFA/ORISA FESTIVAL AND THE 3rd YEAR ANNIVERSARY/AWARD PRESENTATION OF ANCESTRAL PRIDE FOUNDATION
The Annual Ifa/Orisa Festival which always last for seven days kick-started on Monday 16th November, 2020.
The Program which were followed according to the program of event below:
The Fourth day (19th November, 2020) which happened to be Oluwo Dr. Fasola Faniyi’s Birthday where Oluwo and his Foundation Members (Ancestral Pride Foundation) visits Ijamido Orphanage Home to present them gifts including food and money and also give word of Advice as Encouragement to Making Life.
The Grand Finale which is the Festival and Anniversary/Award Party took place on the 21st of November, 2020 at Plot 5, Road 18 Dada Asaila via Ijagba, Obasanjo Farm, Ota, Ogun State where The Senior Medical Officer, Federal Aviation and Port Authority Of Nigeria, (FAAN), Dr. Adeleke Olaoluwa Olusegun gave the Lecture themed: “Restoration of Moral Values in our Youths through Yorùbá Traditional Religion and Culture“.
He also added that: said ‘Ifá is the only epitome of wisdom through which our Youths can behave in an accordance to the values and norms of the society. He explained that good behaviour occassios fortune adding that nothing can attract fortune to mankind except good character which is best embraced by ‘Ifá’.
Oluwo Faniyi added that Olokun: The Great Hero Of The Ancient Yoruba is a point of connection to the spirit of prosperity in us saying to the Yoruba, Ifa originated with Olokun, whose preception brought joy simply means Ifa Olokun, asoro-dayo.
