Irunmole-orisha - ancestral pride

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT: WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE IRUNMOLE-ORISA!

When your mind ignores your heart, you are no better than an animal. But there is one remarkable difference between a human and an animal:

✨You can change your nature, ideas and mind.✨ An animal cannot.

We are the children of the Irunmole-Orisa. The children should display the gracefulness, goodness, loving demeanor, wisdom, good example and strength of their parents. This is how we honor our divine parents. The Irunmole-Orisa are not blind nor are they foolish. Their favor, love, support and blessings cannot be bought neither can the Irunmole-Orisa be cajoled, bribed, tricked or manipulated. We cannot compare ourselves to the greatness, sublimity and wisdom of the Irunmole-Orisa. The Irunmole-Orisa are not petty or fickle. They are divine and extraordinary. They see beyond appearances and cannot be deceived. We cannot negotiate with the Irunmole-Orisa. By the mere action of offering fruits, vegetables, wine, palm oil, shea butter or other types of offerings, eatables and sacrificial presentations many think that they deserve or have earned the favor of the Irunmole-Orisa! What a low perception and appreciation of the Irunmole-Orisa do many people have. Everyone is looking for a cheap escape or benefit in this world.

How can you find a ripe mango under a thorny bush? If you plant weeds will you eat sweet yams? Irunmole-Orisa become happy, content and satisfied when we remember them with love, obedient-faith, respect and awe and when we live in such a way that brings honor, prestige, delight and wholesome pride to them. If we honored them and satisfied them in this way we would not have to be asking them for so many things because they would automatically respond to and meet our needs with which they are fully acquainted with and aware of; and they would bring solutions to our problems before we even became aware of them. Offerings, sacrificial presentations and gifts to the Irunmole-Orisa are okay, beneficial and good if they are combined with love, kindness, honesty, devotion and upright living. It is our love, devotion and our upright living that the Irunmole-Orisa desire from us above all things. Our love, devotion, kindness and uprightness is what gives acceptability, attractiveness and power to our offerings, gifts and sacrifices.
